California real estate agent Tiffany Li (31) is being charged for leading and planning the murder of her children's father Keith Green (27). Officials are also charging Li's boyfriend Kaveh Bayat and another man Oliver Adella for their participation. In May 2015 Green's body was discovered with a bullet wound to the neck not far from a home Li and children once lived in.
The victim's family and friends are disturbed that she is now out, feeling like the justice system is doing them an injustice. This was the highest bail ever posted in the county and if she was able to pull this off who's to say she won't flee? Apparently Li's bail money came from business associates and 15 properties that were pledged. On the other hand, the two male suspects will remain in jail because they lack that kind of money. To many people and myself this highlights the unfair requirements states have for bail. Not to say that everyone deserves to get out but I do think that there should be equality across the board.
