So maybe there was more than meets the eye in reference to Chris Brown's latest Instagram post. Apparently he and Nick Cannon have been busy behind the scenes creating the upcoming independent film "She Ball". The movie will focus on Nick Cannon who plays Avery Watts, the manager of a struggling Inglewood Community Center. To raise money he creates a women's streetball league all while trying to simultaneously raise his 7-year-old daughter.
As an ode to women's basketball, the film's cast consists of athletes from Ball Up, the WNBA, and the Basketball Beauties League (Jaliyah Manuel, Melody Rae Kandil, and Tammy Brawner. Also a part of the cast is Cedric the Entertainer, Rebecca De Mornay, Evan Ross, Faizon Love, Luenell and more!
Nick Cannon seems pretty pumped about this new feat, telling sources, "I’m very excited for this film. It’s something powerful for the culture, uplifting for the community, and the film’s main objective is to empower women! It’s going to be Ncredible!" Cannon, along side Demetrius Spencer from One Media Worldwide & Ball Up, will produce the film. Source: Variety
