The MGM Resort owner says authorities have got it all wrong. It was directly after the killer/terrorist, Stephen Paddock, opened fire on Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos that he then began firing on the crowd... not 6 minutes later like Police reports are saying. Their timeline is as follows (according to CNN).
MGM is saying that this is just not accurate at all. They own both the hotel and concert venue and issued the following statement:
"We know that shots were being fired at the festival lot at the same time as, or within 40 seconds after, the time Jesus Campos first reported that shots were fired over the radio."
The Las Vegas Metro Police Department has yet to comment on these claims. It has been 11 days since investigations got fully under way and there are still many questions left unanswered. The older white male led America's largest mass shooting, killing 58 and wounding around 500. We hope that answers are provided soon and continue to pray for all involved and the loved ones that were lost.
