The High Times has been a staple throughout the years for capturing the history and usage of marijuana in business and recreation. On Thursday they announce that it has been purchased from a group of people that includes Damian Marley, son of the legendary reggae star Bob Marley. Sources say that the magazine was purchased at a price of about $70 million. The new owners have hopes to expand the mag's audience and events.
Damian Marley is no stranger to the magazine as he admitted to having started reading it in high school, he is a sure fan. The magazine was created in 1974 by Mr. Tom Forcade as an ode to bud and bud-lovers all over. (source: nytimes.com)
